'The Woman' is the latest heartbroken paean from London crooner Jimi Charles Moody, and by our reckoning, the gravel-throated newcomer is three-for-three with the excellent 'Blue Honey' and 'Other Man' already in the bag. There's a strong rumour going around that Moody is the alias of a major label artist, but so long as he keeps unpacking his solemn, soulful stories over bare pianos, thoughtful guitar motifs and pining strings, we honestly don't mind. Unless it's James Arthur maybe. He's awful. - DC
